Notre Dame’s Erin Mawhinney turned in her second straight top-five cross-country result, finishing second at the Abbey Park Invitational.

Mawhinney finished 12 seconds behind Evelyne Guay of the host Abbey Park Eagles in the midget girls’ race. Mawhinney opened the season by placing fourth at The Hawk at the Christie Conservation Area.
