Milo Skapinsky, a senior at San Luis Obispo High, finished fourth in the Division 1 boys final at the CIF State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Skapinsky, who placed 12th in Division 2 last year, covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:10.9 to help San Luis Obispo take fifth overall with 172 points after being edged on a sixth-runner tiebreaker by Trabuco Hills.
