SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Marion
Jones left a federal prison in Texas on Friday after serving a
six-month sentence for lying to prosecutors about steroid use
that helped her win five medals at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
A
federal Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman said Jones, 32, was released at 9
a.m. ET Friday from a halfway house in San Antonio after serving most
of her six-month sentence for lying to federal investigators about her
use of performance-enhancing drugs.
