Pepperdine sophomore Abbey Meck won the women's 1,500 meters at the Long Beach State Outdoor Opener at Jack Rose Track. Meck leaned for the victory in 4:49.03, just ahead of West L.A. sophomore Brenda Rosales-Coria in 4:49.04.
