Click the link below to see the rest. Tim Borland, running 63rd marathon in 63 days That's not a typo: Borland really did run 63 marathons in 63 days, culminating in the 2007 New York Marathon. Compulsive? Maybe. But it was for a good cause. Borland ran to raise awareness of ataxia-telangiectasia -- a rare, incurable, genetic disease affecting children that causes loss of muscle control. Borland quit his day job to pursue his 63-marathon quest, aiming to raise $2 million for the cause.
