CLACKAMAS, Ore. – The University of Oregon men’s and women’s cross country teams swept the team titles Saturday in the Mike Hodges Invitational, held on the Clackamas Community College campus.

The No. 1 Duck men posted a near-perfect score and won the 12-team competition with 16 points, and edged Washington (second, 63), Willamette (third, 67), the UO Running Club (131) and Portland State (fifth, 143).

The No. 3 ranked Oregon women put their five scorers in the top 11 overall and tallied 28 points to edge Oregon State (second, 62), Washington (third, 73), Willamette (fourth, 89) and Portland State (fifth, 160) in the 10-team field.

Individually in the 4-mile men’s race, unattached entrant Jordan McNamara won by 11 seconds (19:16) over Duck redshirt freshman Andrew Wheating (second, 19:27) who made his collegiate cross country debut.
